The Friends of Baroque Music in Yorkshire is a registered charity (No 1099251) supporting the performance of Baroque music in Yorkshire. They are currently seeking a volunteer to act as Secretary to the organisation. FMBY is supported by a voluntary management committee of TRUSTEES. Currently; Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and Membership secretary plus 3 other committee members. Duties of the Secretary include: Organisation of committee meeting (2-3 times per year) and the AGM including preparation & circulation (by email) notice of meetings, minutes and agendas. Liaison with the Academic Institutions collaborating in the organisation of the recently established (2024) FBMY Student Prize for Baroque Music Performance.
