Friends of Baroque Music in Yorkshire provides financial and practical support to Baroque ensembles, enabling Yorkshire audiences to share in the musicians’ enthusiasm for music of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
Your membership enables us to support the activities of non-professional and student players in our region, working with professional colleagues, in the performance of Baroque choral and orchestral repertory at a high level of practice and scholarship, directed by some of the country’s leading exponents of early music.
Our help includes: modest grants for education & training, financial support for local Baroque ensembles, free instrument loan to promising students and occational workshops led by specialists in their field to encourage the next generation of Baroque performance.

The season begins in October and subscriptions are due on 30 September. Those joining after 1 April receive free membership for the following season.
